We’re really pleased to share that Artizan International has been awarded funding through the Banks Community Fund to help us continue our Mosaics for Schools project into the next school year.

This project has been running successfully for a number of years and is always such a special part of our work. It gives local pupils the chance to create mosaics alongside our disabled members & artists, learning from each other as they work together on pieces for their school.

For the children involved, it is a lovely way to see inclusion in action and for our members, it gives them the chance to share their skills, be part of the wider community and feel proud of the work they are helping to create.

A huge thank you to Banks Community Fund for helping us keep this project going for another school year. We’re so grateful for the support and can’t wait to share what the schools create next!

We are looking for someone pretty special… Could it be you?

The Café & Inclusion Assistant will support our Café, Training & Inclusion Manager in delivering high-quality café operations alongside inclusive training and member engagement for people with learning disabilities.

This role combines hands-on café duties with direct support for
members, helping create a safe, welcoming, and empowering environment. The Assistant plays a key part in leading the Cafe team to enable our members to build skills, confidence, and independence through meaningful participation in café and training activities.

Approx 20 hrs a week
DBS required

PLEASE NOTE:
This is a long term role to be part of a team, not a summer job - applicants without the outlined expected experience will not be selected for interview

We smashed it!
What a beautiful day in God's own country completing the Nidderdale Walk.
Huge thanks to Rotary Club of Harrogate for their excellent organisation and support.
We all faced challenges that we overcame and have had a wonderful day shared together as a team.

This week is mental health awareness week and as you can imagine, mental health is always a hot topic at Artizan!
People with disabilities are disproportionately affected by isolation and loneliness, both of which impact mental health significantly.
The work of Artizan International has a huge beneficial impact on those we support and train, creating an environment where people can thrive and are seen and raised up for their abilities. Where friendships are made and people feel valued and empowered.
