We’re delighted to welcome acclaimed violinist Jennifer Pike as soloist for Cuore’s November concert.

One of Britain’s most distinguished violinists, Jennifer first came to international attention when, aged just 12, she became the youngest-ever winner of BBC Young Musician of the Year. Since then, she has performed with leading orchestras around the world and appeared regularly at the BBC Proms and Wigmore Hall.

In November, she joins Cuore to perform Mozart’s Violin Concerto No. 3 — a wonderful opportunity to experience an exceptional artist live.

Through our educational outreach, we bring classical music into schools, giving young people the opportunity to experience live music, discover its possibilities and, we hope, develop a lifelong love of it.

Alongside the timeless ‘Holberg Suite’, by Grieg, Cuore’s season opening concert will see the Yorkshire premiere of ‘Meditations’ by composer and presenter of Radio 3’s ‘Private Passions’ Michael Berkeley.

The concert also features a double bill of Mozart. Alongside his Symphony No.29, the orchestra will perform his 3rd Violin Concerto alongside with one of Britain’s foremost violinists, Jennifer Pike.

Final week of the 2026 season.

The Harrogate Story closes on Saturday 31st October after a successful 7 months with visitors from over 20 countries.

We are open Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, 10.30 am - 3.00 pm

Explore inside the West Park United Reformed Church and discover so much about the history of our twn.

The first storm of the 2026/27 season is due on Friday 23rd October so if you are looking to find somewhere warm and cosy with beautiful surroundings to spend an hour or two come on down to the Royal Hall in Harrogate to the final open day of 2026 between the hours of 10am and 4pm. On the 23rd October 1920 two comedians appeared on the Royal Hall stage. Their names Harry Tate and Harry Weldon. The Royal Hall still hosts comedians to this day with such as Masie Adam, Sue Perkins and Ed Byrne due to tread the boards in the forthcoming months.
There is one further opportunity to learn more about the performers at the Royal Hall at the final open day of the season on Friday 23rd October between the hours of 10am and 4pm. Our usual popular tours run at 11am and 2pm. Open days are free to attend. Find us on Ripon Road in Harrogate. HG1 2SY.
The open days are organised and run by a team of volunteers who give their time freely so that others can enjoy the Royal Hall. The Royal Hall Restoration Trust wishes to extend its thanks to all of our fantastic volunteers, the administrators of the various pages who put up with my regular posts and to the public who have supported the open day season. We will be back in February.
