We’re The Sibling Group. We run activities and groups for children aged 5–16 who have a disabled brother or sister.

These children can feel isolated, misunderstood, and often miss out on the same experiences as their friends.

We give them a space that’s just for them — to have fun, make friends who get it, and just be kids!!

Voting is in-store until 30 November 2026.

Running a charity can be incredibly rewarding, but it also comes with a great deal of hard work and stress. This week, we have taken a step back to pause, realign and reflect on everything we have achieved in just a few short years.

Sometimes, amid the challenges, it is easy to lose sight of why you began. Raising Oscar has brought challenges, but it has also been an incredibly special and unique journey. He is the reason behind everything I do. Oscar’s Pathway is for him and his future—a future where he can flourish, be accepted and be celebrated for exactly who he is.

As a family, we have also faced the most heartbreaking time of our lives since losing our beautiful Noah. We feel truly lost without him, but we will keep moving forward and continue doing everything we can to make both Noah and Oscar proud.

We are also setting up Noah’s Ark which is an inclusive sensory room 🌟💙

The Sibling Group runs monthly groups and trips just for you.You’ll get:
A safe space that’s only for siblings
Friends who actually understand
Fun activities, games, crafts, cooking & trips
A proper break from home life We have groups for younger children and older siblings (11–16).Spaces are limited.

We are fundraising to provide subsidised placements at Oscar's Pathway for people with complex needs.

Following the recent withdrawal of statutory funding from North Yorkshire council for children's placements at Oscar's Pathway, many individuals and families are now facing uncertainty about accessing the specialist support they rely on. We are committed to ensuring that nobody loses out because funding has changed.

However parents can access other forms of social care provision.

We are a unique service as we are a social care provision but we offer educational and therapeutic activities for both children and adults.
Every donation helps provide subsidised placements, enabling people with additional needs to access our specialist sensory-based support, develop confidence, build independence, and enjoy meaningful experiences in a safe, inclusive environment.

Your support will help people continue accessing Oscar's Pathway regardless of their financial circumstances or changes to statutory funding. Together, we can ensure that everyone has the opportunity to thrive, reach their potential, and be part of a community where they are valued, supported, and understood.
