How lucky are we to have two wonderful dogs come to see us in one week?
This is gorgeous Tobin who is our carer Gina Loftus guide dog puppy (in training). He's such a beautiful boy and doing so well with his learning. Tobin is still only 6 months old but he's very big and a really loving dog. Tobin was as excited to see the residents as they were him. He went in the lift for the very first time to visit all the residents upstairs, taking it all in his stride. The residents enjoyed asking Gina questions and learning about his training and the job he will go on to do.

Last week we had beautiful Benji come to visit us. Benji is an emotional support dog who pays visits to care homes and schools to provide comfort and affection. It was so nice to learn about his life and the work he does and he was such a good boy. All the residents enjoyed giving him a fuss and feeding him treats.

Visit from Elm View. What a wonderful day we had yesterday!

The activities team from Elm View Care Home arranged an outing with the activities team at TGL to bring some of their residents over for lunch and games. It was so lovely to welcome you all here, and watch the residents enjoying getting to know each other by playing a few team games. It was fantastic to see everyone interacting and making new friends, chatting and having lunch together.

A couple of the Elm View ladies also went on a little tour round the home to meet staff and look at the different rooms, which I'm very glad to say, they loved.

Thank you all for coming, we love making memories with you all and can't wait to do it again soon.

A few pictures from when we celebrated 'International Tea Day' last Thursday.

Our group of residents answered some quiz questions and tried to guess the towards flavours.

Our favourites were pear and apple, honey and lemon and mint.
It was such a refreshing activity that was great for upping our fluid intake and rehydration.
