SL Harmonic's final festive fling takes place on on 12th December at 7.30pm.

Our audience was, once again, enthralled by pianist, Anna Debowska's incredible skill on Friday when we welcomed back The Jane Stirling Project for "Chopin's Scotland"

This immersive recital saw us journey to the places the Great Romantic once visited, accompanied by some of his most emotive compositions.

On Friday evening we will welcome back pianist Anna Anna Dębowska for an immersive piano recital. The concert continues the Jane Stirling Project’s work of bringing to life the remarkable story of Frédéric Chopin, Jane Stirling and Scotland, while offering audiences a new way of experiencing some of Chopin’s most beautiful music.

On Saturday the museum service was ably represented by two of our number at BygoneCon in the auspicious surroundings of Lanark Library. Our thanks go to our library colleagues for such a warm welcome, the other contributors who attended, and the good people of Lanark who came along to support the event.

Our final Music in the Museum recital takes place on 12th November at 2pm when we invite Troppos to fill our Assembly Room with passion packed programmes featuring the sounds of Spain and Latin America.

Our last two Kids Mausoleum tours of the holiday take place today at 10.30am and 2pm.

We've had the best fun learning about the history of the building and Alexander, the 10th Duke. If you want to join us, there's still space on both tours. Reception opens at 10am, just call to book on 01698 452382

There's still time to reserve your free tickets to "Scotland through Chopin's Eyes"

The recital combines Chopin’s music with sound and moving imagery of Scottish landscapes and historic places, creating an atmospheric experience that draws the audience into the world of Chopin’s journey through Scotland in 1848.

Rather than simply accompanying the performance, the changing scenery becomes part of the musical experience, giving listeners the impression of travelling through these places alongside the music.
