Great advice and reflection from our friends at Outlet!

Today, thousands of young people in Scotland are receiving their exam results. But there are so many things no exam paper can measure.

The young person who kept showing up despite anxiety.
The one who finally believed in themselves.
The one who found the courage to ask for help.
The kindness they showed a classmate.
Their creativity, resilience or curiosity.

Those things matter too.

And if you care for or support a young person who is receiving results today...

Bear in mind that long after that envelope or email is opened, they will remember how you made them feel today; how you showed up for them.

Thank you to everyone who came along to Going for Gold today and took part in all the activities. We had a great response and it was lovely to see the enthusiasm from all the participants in the sports taster sessions. We were so busy we forgot to take photos!

We are back at 11am tomorrow for lots more fun! There's still time to sign up for our workshops.

Going for Gold begins tomorrow at 11am! Pop along for lots of FREE family fun and a range of great sporting taster sessions!

The taster session with Ross Brown is now fully booked but Ross will be with us throughout the day showing off some of his freestyle skills!

Join us at the Regent Centre, Hamilton for three action-packed days of fun brought to you by HIPY as part of Summerfest Hamilton celebrating the Commonwealth Games.

📅 Wednesday 22, Thursday 23 & Friday 24 July
⏰ 11am–4pm each day

There’ll be freestyle football, dance and martial arts taster sessions, free face painting, glitter tattoos, biscuit decorating, kids’ crafts, play activities, colouring competitions and lots more!
