Miss Daisy needs a new home @ LURCHER LINK RESCUE

Daisy is a 7-year old female lurcher. She is approximately 24” to the shoulder and weighs about 23kg.

Daisy is very friendly and loves a fuss.

Daisy is friendly with other dogs but perhaps hasn’t spent much time around them (she has wanted to get inappropriately close to those she has met) so she would benefit from time spent learning to socialise properly

Daisy needs further training to walk nicely on the lead as she currently pulls. She’ll need to wear a harness.

Travels well in the car

LITTLE DOLLY NEEDS A NEW HOME @ LURCHER LINK RESCUE

Dolly is a whippet-cross

Dolly is approximately 3-years old, she is about 19” to the shoulder and weighs 14kg

Dolly was found as a stray with a skin condition. This has been treated, and she’s now looking a lot better.

Dolly is quite nervous. She would be best rehomed with a confident dog as a role model.

Dolly currently cannot be off-lead (unless in a secure area) because if she got spooked she would bolt. She will need to be walked in a 3-point-harness to keep her safe.

Dolly needs to be rehomed where someone is around for most of the time. She’s anxious and currently doesn’t cope well with being left, and can be vocal.

Once she gets to know you, Dolly is affectionate and loves having a fuss.

Due to her nervousness, Dolly is not suitable to be rehomed in a busy, noisy household with young children. A household with calm, sensible teenagers might be okay.

Neutered, microchipped and vaccinated

Dolly is at LURCHER LINK RESCUE, near Halifax, West Yorkshire.
