What a fantastic day of training yesterday❤️

Our School of Homeless Pastors students spent the day learning:
- First Aid
- Dealing with Aggressive Behaviour & De-escalation
- City Growth Roadmap & Developing New Outreach Areas

It’s inspiring to see so many people investing their time and hearts into serving those who are homeless, vulnerable, and often forgotten.

As this year’s School of Homeless Pastors (2025–26) draws to a close, we are looking forward to celebrating the graduation of our students on Sunday 5th July at New Beginnings Church, Halifax.

Everyone is welcome to join us, hear stories of transformed lives, and see the impact being made across communities throughout the UK.

A Huge Thank You!

A massive thank you to Alisha for taking on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge in support of The Light Group!

We’re so grateful for her determination, effort, and heart for the work we do. Thanks to Alisha’s incredible challenge, she has raised £225 to help us continue supporting vulnerable people, tackling homelessness, and bringing hope to those who need it most.

As we celebrate Volunteers’ Week, I simply want to say thank you.

Over the last three months alone, together we have supported 4,793 people across the nine cities where The Light Group operates.

Every outreach, every conversation, every Community Group, every prayer, every mile travelled, and every hour given has helped bring hope to people facing homelessness, isolation, addiction, and hardship.

You are the heart of what we do.

Thank you for your compassion, commitment, and faithfulness. Thank you for helping us illuminate the way home for so many people.

We couldn’t do it without you.

Hi everyone,

We’ve been looking back at the impact across March, April and May 2026 and honestly, the numbers are incredible. Through our groups, outreach and everyday interactions, so many people have been supported, encouraged and connected through The Light Group.

A huge thank you to every volunteer and team member who gives their time each week — what’s happening across our towns and cities is making a real difference.

Behind every number is a real person — someone’s brother, sister, mum, dad, grandad, grandma, friend or loved one. Every conversation, every act of kindness and every moment of support matters more than we often realise.

Thank you all for everything you do — together we are reaching and helping more people than ever.❤️

What a beautiful day with the Light Group in Nelson today 🙏✨
We came together as a community to offer prayer, support, encouragement, friendship, and hope to those who needed it most. Alongside hot drinks and food, we shared conversation, kindness, and love with people in our local community.
