💔 TIED IN A PLASTIC BAG AND DUMPED IN A WHEELIE BIN🥺... HELP US GIVE CHRISTINE A SECOND CHANCE...

When six-month-old Christine the kitten arrived in our care, she was severely dehydrated and suffering from urine scalding, indicating she'd been left in terrible conditions and had been struggling to cope in the awful environment she'd been dumped in.

We can't even begin to imagine how frightened she must have been. 💔

Someone treated Christine as though her life meant nothing... but we want to show her the opposite. After being treated so terribly at the hands of a human, this little lady is a sweet, loving, gentle soul who deserves SO much better... can you help us provide her with the happy future she deserves so much?

Christine is now recovering with our RSPCA Halifax Huddersfield Bradford team and we're hoping to raise £550 to help cover the cost of her care, get her back on her paws and prepare her for the loving new home she'll spend the rest of her days in!

❤️‍🩹Donate on this post or via Stripe: https://donate.stripe.com/6oU8wOdFS7Ap2ca47H0oN1c

Every donation, no matter how small, will help us give Christine the chance of a brighter future. Right now, we're seeing countless heart-breaking cases like Christine's, reminding us why our work is so desperately needed.

We're working incredibly hard to build a brand-new cattery as part of Phase 2 of our Really Big ReFURb, ensuring we have better facilities for the future, so we can always be here for animals in their time of need.

💌 CAN'T DONATE? WE HAVE ONE LITTLE REQUEST... We know times are really hard right now and you might not be in a position to give, so if you can't donate please leave a free message of love for Christine in the comments below. Tell her she's important... that she deserves the world...and that she will find the love, happiness and safety she should have had all along.

Thank you for helping us be there for the animals who need us most, we know Christine's story is extremely upsetting but we're here to make sure she never feels hurt, abandoned or hopeless ever again... we can't thank you enough for being here and supporting us.

🚨 EVERYONE STOP WHAT YOU’RE DOING 🚨THIS IS A BRIAN APPRECIATION POST🚨

We need to talk about Brian. Specifically his magnificent tiny blep.

This fine gentleman has officially reached LEGEND status in our centre and frankly, we think the internet deserves to know about him.

👅 His blep? Immaculate.
👑 This floof? Unmatched.
💙 That personality? Iconic.

All Brian is looking for is a comfortable retirement home where he can spend his days receiving the love he deserves! 😂

He might need a couple of days to settle in, but once he's comfortable, he's ready for strokes and attention. He enjoys a good groom, although he'll let you know when he's had enough!

Brian can even be adopted through our EARS scheme, which comes with heaps of amazing adopter benefits for eligible adopters in the Halifax, Huddersfield and Bradford area.

So, can we get some LOVE in the comments for Brian, please?!

Leave him a 💙? tell us how handsome he is? Or more importantly... can you offer this golden boy the loving retirement home he deserves?

🏡 Head to our website to find out more and apply to adopt - www.rspcahalifaxhuddersfieldbradford.org.uk/adoption/

Let's get Brian the appreciation he deserves... and hopefully the forever home he's been waiting for. 🥹💙

💙 A HUGE THANK YOU TO SARAH AT SHG LAW 🐾

We'd like to say a very special thank you to Sarah Hitchen-Gibbon of for supporting us by hosting our recent webinars all about legacy giving and leaving a gift in your Will to help animals in need.

Sarah made the sessions informative, welcoming and genuinely enjoyable, answering a whole host of questions and helping people feel comfortable exploring the idea of leaving a gift to charity in their Will.

We've received some wonderful feedback about the sessions, and we're incredibly grateful for the time, expertise and enthusiasm Sarah has given to helping our charity.

Gifts in Wills can make an extraordinary difference to the future of animal welfare, helping us rehabilitate and rehome animals who desperately need us.

And as we continue our Really Big ReFURb, rebuilding Wade Street Animal Centre into a brand-new rescue centre, this support is more important than ever.

The generosity of local businesses who give their time, knowledge and expertise to help our charity is truly invaluable. It's not just our team who benefit, but the countless animals who will one day walk through the doors of our new centre, receive the care they deserve and go on to find their forever homes for years to come. 🐶🐱🏡

Sarah, thank you for helping us make these conversations possible, for sharing your expertise so generously, and for being part of something that will have a lasting impact on animals' lives.

💙A NEW NAME AND A NEW HOME 🥹🐾

Remember Muffin? The gorgeous girl whose name we asked YOU to help us choose? Well, we have some VERY happy news to share! 🥰

After all your wonderful suggestions, there was one name that we just couldn’t stop thinking about… MOXIE!💙

A huge thank you to Michelle Singleton, who suggested the name. Moxie means courage, determination and energy, describing someone with a spirited, lively personality. And we think it suits our girl down to a T! 🐱✨😉

But that's not all… Moxie is about to be adopted and start her brand-new life! 🏡💕

Every single person who took the time to comment, suggest a name and show this beautiful girl some love has played a part in her journey. 🥹💙

It's a wonderful reminder of just how much our amazing online community can do. Your comments, shares, kindness and support really do make a difference to the animals in our care, and we couldn't be more grateful for every single one of you.🐾 🥳
