With the recent news affecting our freinds in Girlguiding,
We just wanted to remind everyone that Scouting is for
everyone. No matter your gender identity, sexuality, race or any protected characteristics - you're welcome here at Lapal (and all other groups within Halesowen District Scouts )

We understand that many Guiders are feeling let down by their own organisation at the moment. This was something that I am sure none of them wanted to do and was forced on them by a supreme Court case some time ago.
Those too are welcome to come along and we will help and support as best as we can.

There is also a petition set up here to help them see the impact this decision has had.

Congratulations KJ

Huge congratulations to Kyle-Jin! 🎉
After several years with Lapal Scouts, Kyle-Jin has been awarded the Chief Scout’s Gold Award – the highest honour in Scouting! 🏅 This prestigious award recognises those who complete a series of challenging tasks and is said to be as demanding as the Duke of Edinburgh Award.

He will now be invited to an official ceremony with the Lord Mayor and has also earned a place at the next World Scout Jamboree in Poland, 2027. 🌍

We are incredibly proud – a truly remarkable achievement! 👏
