🌊✨ SeaVenturers Cradley Heath are BACK! ✨🌊
After half term, we’re diving straight into some exciting hands-on activities! 🚀

This week, our young adventurers will be experimenting with drag and friction 🔍, discovering how things move and why. We are also learning how to care for our planet, when we are outdoors 🌍💚

👫 We still have a few spaces available for children aged 9–11 years, so if your young person loves exploring, learning new skills, and having fun with friends, come join us!

This evening, we visited our friends from SeaVenturers Smethwick for STEM and Wellbeing activities and some photos! 📸⚓

It was great for two of our groups to meet up, spend time together, and take part in the SeaVenturers fun. A fantastic evening enjoyed by everyone — we look forward to meeting up again soon!

🌊🧭 Cradley Heath SeaVenturers – Next Session 🧭🌊
Our next session is all about waves and navigation — exploring how sailors understand the sea and find their way!

Young people will be:
🌊 Learning about waves and how they move
🧭 Exploring navigation basics
🎨 Understand directions and how boats stay safe on the water.

It’s a hands‑on, fun session that builds STEM learning, problem‑solving, and teamwork, while encouraging curiosity.

If you’re an adult thinking about something engaging, practical, and confidence‑building for your young person, now is a great time to get involved. New faces are always welcome!

🌊 SeaVenturers Cradley Heath – This Wednesday 🌊

This Wednesday’s session will support young people to learn, explore and develop confidence through a mix of practical skills and important discussions.

🔹 We’ll be taking part in a sensitively delivered session on safeguarding and wellbeing, helping young people understand how to keep themselves and others safe, plus where to get support if they ever need it.

🔹 This will be balanced with hands‑on activities including compass skills and an exciting navigation challenge, putting teamwork and problem‑solving into practice.

🧭 Skills young people will develop:
✅ Teamwork and communication
✅ Awareness of personal safety and wellbeing
✅ Confidence to speak to trusted adults
✅ Map reading and compass skills
✅ Decision‑making and navigation
✅ Resilience and responsibility

All activities will be age‑appropriate, led by trained volunteers, and delivered in line with The Sea Cadets safeguarding policy.

If parents or carers have any questions about the session, please feel free to speak to one of the SeaVenturers team.

Tonight’s session is all about learning, confidence, and staying active 💙

👐 British Sign Language (BSL)
✅ Learn basic BSL signs and communication skills
✅ Develop greater awareness of inclusion and accessibility
✅ Build confidence communicating in different ways

🏸 Keeping Active with Badminton
✅ Improve coordination, balance, and fitness
✅ Learn teamwork, sportsmanship, and resilience
✅ Enjoy staying active in a fun and supportive environment
