This is something a bit different that might be of interest to some of you!

It's a brand new phone-based social media thing, called Carvatar, just for people who like/love their wheeled pride and joys.

Basically the app creates a 3D avatar of your car for others to see and admire. Like a permanent, virtual car show. You can add notes and folks can ask questions etc. I've scanned my Cooper 35 in and that is what you'll see in the link. You'll need to download the app to see all the other cars...there are more than just my Mini :)

I know a few of the folks who have toiled long and hard to get it all working and I think their hard work has created a cool thing, which certainly lights-my-lemon, so I'm giving it a bit of a plug. I also think its brilliant that it's a UK based creation.

The app guides you through how to scan in your Mini (other cars are available). It's pretty easy, taking about 10mins to do for the exterior and then the same again if you do the full showcase scan (which I haven't done yet)...

Anyway, there's only a few Mini's on there at the moment...hopefully you'll help add a few more...don't tell I said this but let's take it over with Minis 😀

A Japanese The Italian Job double bill! Both super rare...

Although the film was released in 1969 in most of the world it was not released in Japan until 15th January 1970...

1970 Japanese The Italian Job movie flyer, mint condition. Just a single double sided flyer but oh so very rare. A5 size-ish, £38

(SOLD) 1970 Japanese The Italian Job cinema brochure. It is in great condition, all pages shown in the pics. A4 size-ish. Very rare as well £28

Just in case you were wondering, I deleted this post, everywhere...

I was monitoring the data for the post(s) and it became rapidly obvious that FB wants to control how things are sold and it simply wasn't showing the post to even a fraction of the usual folks who it usually deems fit to show our posts to...so as the ££ from the closed auction for the poster was going to be all for charity, not being seen by anyone was at odds with the need. Pretty rubbish.
..so its gone, no such auction will be happening on FB. Sorry if you did see the post and wanted to play!

However, sometime during Sunday I will put it on eBay. It will handle the auction and it'll still be for the same charity > SpecialEffect

My Cooper was out and about with "Project Boot" at the British Mini Day expertly hosted by the British Mini Club.

Was a great day out with the Cooper 35 Register and we got surprised with good weather, bonus! :)
..and "Project Boot" is all the handpainted & signwritten work of DH Traditional Signwriter.

It's that good that a lot of folks who looked at it, really didn't believe it...but it is (and there's YouTube vids to prove it 🙃)
