Evening! I'm not here very often now but just checking in with the page this evening as someone pinged me to ask if I had any Takeru Ozaki illustrations of the RSP...
..I did so it's now on it's way to its new owner! Hopefully they'll love it.

I still have a few of these A4 illustrations by Mr. Ozaki...he did ninety-five different mks and models, too many to list. There's a lot of illustrations of pre-mid-80's UK models and then from then on he focused on illustrating what was official imported into Japan.

Hello!

A bunch of people have asked about which Mini's are on the "History of Mini" calendar prints I have for sale...I think it's easier to show you in pictures, so please ogle at this close ups :)

Takeru Ozaki was a Japanese illustrator, so he focused on Mini models which were popular in Japan and/or available for sale in Japan. This means UK-only LE's don't feature but Japanese-only ones do and some of the LE's show the Japanese variant (and their popular spelling!)

93 Mini's are featured and the fan illustrations include the Monte Mini's, Innocenti's, Mokes and many "normal" Mini's too.

The two prints are very cool which is why I try and hunt them down so others can enjoy them too.

£60 each print, plus P&P or collection from myself at Mini Fest at Stanford Hall this coming Sunday (13th September)

Will be rolled up and shipped in a poster tube.

Size (approx.): Height 51.5cm, Width 73cm.

Happy Monday!

I have managed to find a few more of the large and very rare History of Mini calendar prints, which were made in Japan many years ago.

There are two print designs; front view and side view, both marvellous to look at :)

£60 each print, plus P&P or collection from myself at Mini Fest at Stanford Hall this coming Sunday (13th September)

Will be rolled up and shipped in a poster tube.

The pictures show what you get and what they would look like if you were to frame them.

Illustrated by the late Japanese illustrator, Takeru Ozaki, these calendar prints where a limited run at the time (2008 & 2009) and are now very rare.

When they are gone, they are gone!

NOTE: I cannot post these to anywhere in Europe. The rules and regulations have not changed its just too difficult to try and circumvent these. Apologies but Brexit etc.

Hello there! It's been a while, I hope you are all well!?

I managed to get a bit of time to go through some other Mini bits and pieces the other day and decided that I probably wouldn't have space to put up my collection of 1990's Rover Japan Mini adverts in the house so I'm offering them up here.

They are all from Japanese magazines and are all roughly A4 size. Imho, all would look good framed and on the wall.

£5.50 each plus P&P which if you're in the UK would be £3.60 per item but can combine postage.

This is something a bit different that might be of interest to some of you!

It's a brand new phone-based social media thing, called Carvatar, just for people who like/love their wheeled pride and joys.

Basically the app creates a 3D avatar of your car for others to see and admire. Like a permanent, virtual car show. You can add notes and folks can ask questions etc. I've scanned my Cooper 35 in and that is what you'll see in the link. You'll need to download the app to see all the other cars...there are more than just my Mini :)

I know a few of the folks who have toiled long and hard to get it all working and I think their hard work has created a cool thing, which certainly lights-my-lemon, so I'm giving it a bit of a plug. I also think its brilliant that it's a UK based creation.

The app guides you through how to scan in your Mini (other cars are available). It's pretty easy, taking about 10mins to do for the exterior and then the same again if you do the full showcase scan (which I haven't done yet)...

Anyway, there's only a few Mini's on there at the moment...hopefully you'll help add a few more...don't tell I said this but let's take it over with Minis 😀

A Japanese The Italian Job double bill! Both super rare...

Although the film was released in 1969 in most of the world it was not released in Japan until 15th January 1970...
