Since opening 3 weeks ago we have helped a few individuals who needed some support including food.

This week we supported our first homeless person and provided £24 worth of food and toiletries to ensure they had a cooked meal as well as few items of food and other bits to get by for a little while after leaving Wickerbys Community Cafe. We are now working hard to maximise the support we can offer this individual.

Next week will see our first volunteer since opening (we are all volunteers apart from our cook) starting with us, meaning more people supporting the local community and our cause.

We hope more volunteers will help when you can, as the more volunteers we get the more support and services we can offer the community. Please pop in or fill out our online form under vacancies on our website: www.wickerbyscic.co.uk

We're so pleased that we've just been inspected and we've been awarded a 5* food hygiene rating at WickerbysCommunityCafe - 17a Marketplace, Grantham, Lincolnshire, NG31 6LP.
