NGAS Craft and Chat Group

Join us at the NGAS Wellbeing Centre for a relaxed and welcoming weekly Craft and Chat session.

📍 NGAS Wellbeing Centre
Wharf Road, Grantham, NG31 6BH

🕐 Wednesdays | 1pm – 3pm
📅 Weekly – Starting 3rd June

Whether you enjoy painting, crochet, card making, sewing, colouring, journaling, knitting, drawing, or any other creative activity, our Craft and Chat group is a safe and friendly space to bring your hobbies and connect with others.

Craft activities can have a positive impact on wellbeing by helping to reduce stress, ease feelings of loneliness, improve focus, and encourage conversation in a calm and supportive environment. Taking part in creative activities alongside others can help build confidence, friendships, and a sense of community — especially during difficult times or periods of grief.

You do not need to be artistic or experienced to attend. Everyone is welcome, and you are free to work on your own projects while enjoying a chat, a cuppa, and companionship.

Come along to:

Meet new people
Enjoy creative activities
Share conversation and support
Relax in a welcoming environment
Take time for yourself and your wellbeing

All crafts, all abilities, and all welcome.

We Support Pride Month 🏳️‍🌈

At The National Grief Advice Service, we want to take a moment to recognise, celebrate, and stand alongside LGBTQ+ communities across the UK and beyond.

We believe everyone deserves support, compassion, dignity, and the freedom to be themselves — especially during life’s most difficult moments.

Grief can affect anyone, and every person’s journey is unique. During Pride Month, we recognise the importance of creating safe, inclusive, and understanding spaces where LGBTQ+ individuals feel heard, valued, respected, and supported without judgement.

We are proud to support people from all backgrounds, identities, and experiences, and we remain committed to providing compassionate counselling and emotional support to everyone who reaches out to us.

No one should have to face grief, loss, trauma, or isolation alone.

This Pride Month, we celebrate love, identity, courage, diversity, and the strength of LGBTQ+ communities everywhere.

Happy Pride Month from all of us at The National Grief Advice Service 🏳️‍🌈💜

🌱 Something new is growing in Grantham… 💜

We’re proud to announce the opening of our new Community Allotment with National Grief Advice Service — a calm and welcoming space for anyone experiencing grief, loneliness, stress, or mental health struggles.

Sometimes healing starts with something simple:
🌿 Fresh air
🌿 Good people
🌿 A chance to slow down and breathe

Our allotment is a place to connect, grow, share, and support one another in a peaceful outdoor environment. No gardening experience is needed — just come as you are.

Whether you’d like to grow flowers, vegetables, friendships, or simply enjoy some time in nature, you’ll always be welcome here. 💚
