Stallholders wanted! 🎁

Our popular Christmas Market is back for a second year and we have a few spaces left for local makers to join us!

We welcomed over 1700 visitors to 2025's event and will be holding this year's festive fair on Sunday 29 November from 10am to 4pm. Grantham Christmas Fayre and St Wulfram's Christmas Tree Festival are both taking place that day too so town is sure to be buzzing with yuletide joy.

Have you ever fancied trying your hand at goldwork? 🪙

Beginners Metal Embroidery Workshops start this Thursday at Grantham House!

Led by experienced C&G tutor and member of the Textile Study Group and Embroiderers’ Guild, Mary Sleigh, the workshops include:
• an introduction to the materials and threads

• preparation of the embroidery hoop and design

• embroidery techniques used in metal thread embroidery

• samples of couching, pearl purl, padded gold kid

Learn through sampling and experimenting with a variety of threads and methods to create surface designs and embellishment with rich textures and a glittering, luxurious appearance.

The course takes place over three sessions, on Thursday 8 and 22 October and 12 November.

With spooky season just around the corner, we’re delighted to share that we’ll be hosting a one-man performance of Dracula this autumn! 🧛

Adapted from the great Bram Stoker Gothic novel, this classic tale of late-Victorian vampirism stars Jonathan Goodwin as Count Dracula, Lord of the Undead, and a host of others. Prepare to learn the bloody truth that lies beyond the legend!

It’s the Doll’s House Fair this weekend! 🏠

This Saturday, from 10am to 4pm, come along to celebrate miniature craftsmanship with us, bringing together artisans and enthusiasts. An array of high-quality miniatures will be on show, from 1:12 scale furniture and architectural components to handcrafted dolls and period-accurate accessories.

A curated selection of makers will showcase bespoke creations not typically found on the high street and there’ll be a chance for visitors to purchase unique pieces to start or expand their own collections.

There are just 100 days to Christmas, and it's the perfect time to announce that we'll be hosting Circus Starlight's Christmas Circus this December! 🎪

Step into the big top in our garden and prepare to be dazzled! This festive show brings together a spectacular team of professional circus artists alongside the talented young performers from Circus Starlight's Young Performers Project.

Expect an exhilarating mix of aerial, acrobatics, comedy, juggling and much more, with performers ranging in age from just 10 years old to adult professionals. It’s a unique celebration of talent, creativity and community, wrapped up in plenty of Christmas magic.
