We bring hope to many through education living in Kenya. Our vision is to Embrace, Educate

St Peter’s Life-Line supports the St Peter’s Community of Schools in Kajuki, Eastern Province, Kenya, by providing funds for capital projects, specific facilities or equipment. We also aim to provide regular, budgeted funding for teachers’ and staff salaries, feeding programme for the children, and for other specified and agreed running expenses directly associated with the operation of the schools. Given any success in establishing stable centres of excellence in these schools, we would seek to expand our charitable activity to other similar projects in Kenya.

Our recent trip to St Peter's: We provide lunch to over 1,800 primary school children in 9 local government schools every day. In this very food insecure area many children lack the motivation or the energy to walk in and undergo a full day's school work. Our lunches have considerably raised and stabilised school attendances, and... individual and schools' overall academic performances have visibly improved, and continue to do so. We visited two such schools on our visit.

Our recent visit to St Peter's: It's GIFT TIME! The gifting of books for the school library, which through the generosity of two of ours supporters is gradually being expanded; pics, poems, drawings etc being presented to me to take to Butleigh primary school, with whom St Peter's is twinned; gifts for the parish being presented by Chloe; and, gifts for all our dedicated Board members and our lovely lady workers - here with, Simon, our Chairman.
Their beautiful gift to us.... Prayer... all the time. 🙏

Our recent trip to St Peter's: during our visit we frequently popped in and out of our free Rehabilitation Clinic for disabled children, to talk to the families and watch our physio, Pam, doing her amazing therapies (pics 1 & 2). We were also in and out of our Respite Home, visiting two of our permanent residents, Silas and Salesio, both suffering life-limiting condition muscular dystrophy, and need 24/7 care. They also love doing jigsaw puzzles (pic 3). We also visited some of the disabled children at their homes - Tysy, who has brittle bone disease - her granny pushes her every day into St Peter's where she is receiving a full time education (pic 4), and Natasha who has cerebral palsy, and is receiving regular treatment at the Clinic (pic 5).

Our recent visit to St Peter's: Chloe is one of our visitors and has a great passion for dance! Here she got the whole school boogying en masse - dancing is "All About Joy" is her message!

Our recent Kenya trip: we had the privilege of visiting the Kibera slums in Nairobi. And I mean privilege, as I go to Kibera to compare urban poverty with the rural poverty where we work... and exchange views and suggestions with my contacts there... this is not 'Poverty Tourism'.
We visited two very different schools - first, Bornstar, started off his own volition by teacher Derek Kadake and his wife, and patiently seeking funds to build up the school in very challenging situations (pic bottom left (presenting gifts) and top right classroom. Then to the very impressive Global One school nearby, meeting Justin Vero, Founder and President, and having a tour of the school, ending with a danceathon on the roof, led by Chloe, one of our guests!
