Riders In the Sky Local group of people raising money for the Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance. Bike ride out followed by a Family fun day A true legend... one in a million.

Riders In The Sky..... Annual event
This day is in memory of Lee Baker 20/05/1981 who sadly lost his life on 08/11/2010 to a motorbike accident. An unforgettable Dad,Son,Brother & Friend who has inspired us all to do the event. He was always raising money for charity's so now we are going to carry this on and make him proud.....

We organise different events throughout the year to raise money for

the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance. To date we have raised just under £90,088.17 since our first ride out and family funday on 8th May 2011. Thank you for everyone's ongoing support. Without you we wouldn't have raised a penny! Contact details

We’re looking for qualified first aiders / medical cover to support us at RITS Day 2026 – Ride Out & Family Fun Day 🎉

📍 Tor Leisure, Glastonbury
📅 Sunday 30th August 2026
⏰ From late morning through to the afternoon

This is a well-attended community event with a motorcycle ride-out followed by a family fun day, raising money for the Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance in memory of Lee Baker 💛

We’re looking for:
✔️ Qualified first aiders / event medical teams
✔️ Experience with large outdoor events (preferred)
✔️ Reliable cover for the duration of the event

If you are able to volunteer, we’d love to hear from you 🙌
