Welcome to Kings Court Lodge
We are one of the 49 lodges which make up the Province of Dorset and we meet in Gillingham Dorset, just one of the seventeen meeting venues across the County. Kings Court Lodge was dedicated on 2nd June 1898 and since 1919 has met at the Masonic Hall in Gillingham. Kings Court currently has a wide-ranging age of membership including younger men with families in a var
iety of occupations. Whilst we believe family and work must always be prioritised. Masonry can be enjoyable and an important interest alongside. Freemasonry offers the opportunity to engage with like minded people from different backgrounds whom you may not usually meet. We actively engage in charitable events and activities. We dedicate time, resources and skills to support our community by being a part of something that can really make a difference in our World. We also provide an opportunity to explore your potential through improved self knowledge and confidence on an enduring foundation of ethical and moral values. These values upheld by members, offer a framework for making better choices in life and living a more fulfilling and purposeful existence. As with any club or organisation there is a joining fee and annual membership cost which we always strive to keep as low as possible as is our dining fee each month when we enjoy an excellent meal after each meeting . To become Freemason a man must be over the age of 18, believe in a supreme being and be a just, upright citizen. The lodge is always delighted to receive new members, both existing Freemasons new to the area and those new to Freemasonry. If you are not currently a Freemason and would like to know more, please contact the lodge, just send us a message.
