The Islamic Society of Medway once again brings you Charity Week!! Last year Medway ISOC was one of 117 institutions nationwide that took part in Charity Week 2010. We came 12th in London region last year with a total of £2076.80!!, behind the School of Phamracy, who came 1st with £31,016.83!! We hope that this year everyone can take part, regardless of religion, as the the funds will go to ORHANS
, of all races and religions in the most NEEDY parts of the world. OUR TARGET THIS YEAR IS: ??????????? All members of the Campus are invited to a meeting in the very near future, please keept a watch out for updates. WE WILL DICUSS:
- Roles and formation of the CHARITY WEEK TEAM.
- How we will raise money, through a variety of events & activies eg football, cake sales, car wash, auctions.
- Delegation of activites. CHARITY WEEK WILL NOT BE EXCLUSIVE TO MEMBERS OF THE ISLAMIC SOCIETY, AND WE WELCOME ALL MEMBERS OF THE UNIVERSITY TO TAKE PART, ESPECIALY OTHER SOCIETIES. THE PROJECT IS IN AID OF ORPHANS, AND THIS AIM IS BEYOND OUR OWN RELIGIOUS AND CULTURAL BACKGROUNDS!! In the meantime, please feel free to post on this page with ideas, and to register your interest.
