We’ve had a couple of fantastic fundraising events this month — including our annual sponsored walk around Forfar Loch, as well as our engagement stall as charity partner at Hordes X Music Festival in Dundee.

Thanks to the incredible support of our members and the local community, we’ve collectively raised £1,500 for Angus Voice!

This money will go directly towards supporting activities and opportunities for our members.

A huge thank you to everyone who took part, donated, supported, or simply stopped by to say hello. Your support makes a real difference! ❤️

Kicking off National Su***de Prevention Week the best way we know how - moving for mental health!

We started our week with our annual Angus Voice sponsored walk because physical movement and mental wellbeing go hand in hand.

Every step we take helps break the stigma, fund vital resources, and remind everyone that they are never alone.

Arbroath Walking Group - Cancelled today

Due to the heavy flooding and persistent rain, we are sadly cancelling our walking group in Arbroath today.

Weather permitting, our next walk will be in Forfar on Thursday 5th February at 1pm, from the Myre Car Park and then Arbroath on Monday 9th February, 1pm, from outside Witherspoon's.

Apologies for any inconvenience.

Forfar Walking Group - Cancelled today

Due to the ongoing bad weather, icy pavements and minus degree temperature, we are sadly cancelling our walking group in Forfar today.

Weather permitting, our next walk will be in Arbroath on Monday 12th January at 1pm, from Wetherspoons, and in Forfar from the Myre Care Park at 1pm, Thursday 15th January.

Walking Groups over the holidays.

Angus Voice walking groups will have a brief hiatus during the holiday period from both the Forfar and Arbroath Walking Groups.
Both groups will recommence during the week of the 5th of January, starting with Arbroath on Monday 5th at 1pm, outside Arbroath Wetherspoons. Forfar will recommence on Thursday 8th at 1pm, outside the Guide Hall, Myre Car Park.

🤝In partnership with SAMH and Arbroath Community Sports Hub (CSH), we are launching a new opportunity in Arbroath for males aged 18-30 to join a 12-week mental health literacy programme, with the outcome of improving men's mental health and wellbeing.

No cost ❌
No judgement ❌
A safe environment for males to talk ✅
A chance to normalise men's mental health amongst young people ✅
Maybe even be physically active through our Arbroath CSH network ✅
