Fabulous morning at Flint Castle 5K Your Way, Move Against Cancer parkrun.

A good turnout of ambassadors and participants on what was a bit of a damp and drizzly morning, but fortunately we were able to complete before the heavens opened ☔️🌦

Very well done to each and everyone of you and we hope to see you all again soon 💙

Our next 5KYW event will be held on Saturday 26th September. We meet at 08.45am for a 9am start. Look out for the meeting point flag and ambassadors wearing blue tshirts 💙

Mae’n ffordd gefnogol, hwyliog ac egnïol o gysylltu ag eraill sydd wedi’u heffeithio gan ganser. Cerddwch, jogiwch, rhedwch, neu dewch draw am sgwrs – mae popeth yn ymwneud â symud yn eich ffordd chi!


It’s a supportive, fun, and active way to connect with others affected by cancer. Walk, jog, run, or just come along for a chat – it’s all about moving your way!

Another fantastic morning at Flint Castle 5K Your Way, Move Against Cancer parkrun.

Do as much or as little as you like, you can run, walk, volunteer, chat or cheer others on, and join us for coffee and cake afterwards at Flint Town Football Club 💙

📯 Oyez! Oyez! Oyez! 📯

Hear ye, hear ye, good folk of Flint and all who dwell beyond!

The welcome news rings out across the land... Flint Castle parkrun returns this Saturday!

Gather yourselves upon the glorious Welsh Coastal Path, where all are invited to take part in a merry 5k adventure.

Run if you wish, jog at your leisure, walk with friends, or enjoy a gentle parkwalk. All are equally welcome!

Fear not if you are new to our gathering, for none shall finish last! Start and finish is within sight of the Donjon Tower.

Our faithful Tail Walker shall accompany the final participant home, while our noble marshals stand watch along the route to keep all travellers upon the right path.

Expect a warm welcome, hearty cheers from our wonderful volunteers, and enough encouragement to carry you from start to finish.

So, polish those trainers, dust off those walking shoes, gather your family and friends, and join us for a grand morning of fresh air, friendly faces and community spirit.

The proclamation has been made... all that remains is for you to answer the call!
