As Volunteers' Week comes to an end, we'd like to say one final thank you to every volunteer who gives their time to support Citizens Advice Flintshire.

Whether you've been with us for 20 years or 20 days, your contribution helps make a difference to people across our community every single day.

This week, we've celebrated just a few of the many volunteers who make our work possible, but today we celebrate all of them.

Thank you for your time, commitment, kindness and support. đź’š

đź’š Celebrating 20 Years of Dedication đź’š

This Volunteers' Week, we're proud to recognise Dorothy Lawson and celebrate an incredible milestone: 20 years of volunteering with Citizens Advice Flintshire.

For two decades, Dorothy has given her time, experience and support to help local people across our community. Twenty years of dedication is an extraordinary achievement, and we're incredibly grateful for everything Dorothy has contributed over the years.

Thank you, Dorothy, for your commitment, kindness and unwavering support. Congratulations on reaching this remarkable milestone. 🎉

🍰 Volunteers' Week Spotlight: Colin Brockley

Not all heroes wear capes. Some arrive carrying a homemade pie.

This Volunteers' Week, we're celebrating Colin Brockley, who received our CAF Top Chef Award in recognition of the countless treats he's baked and shared over the years.

From pies and quiches to trifles and cakes, Colin is always thinking of others. His baking has brightened many days across our offices and brought volunteers and staff together over a well-earned cuppa.

It's often the little things that make a big difference, and Colin's kindness, generosity and thoughtfulness have become a much-loved part of life at Citizens Advice Flintshire.

Thank you, Colin, for everything you do. We're very lucky to have you as part of our volunteer team. đź’š

Every volunteer has their own reason for getting involved.

Some wanted to give something back to their community.
Some were looking to learn new skills.
Some were starting a new career journey.
Some simply wanted to help people.

At Citizens Advice Flintshire, our volunteers come from all walks of life, but they all share one thing in common: a desire to make a difference.

Whether they're helping clients find the right support, assisting with research, providing advice, or sharing their specialist knowledge, their contribution helps us reach more people across Flintshire every day.

Throughout Volunteers' Week, we're proud to celebrate not just what our volunteers do, but the impact they have on the lives of others.

This week is Volunteers' Week, and we're celebrating the people who make so much of our work possible.

Across Flintshire, our volunteers give their time, skills and experience to help local people find a way forward when they're facing problems with money, housing, benefits, employment and much more.

Some have been with us for decades. Some joined recently. Some have gone on to become paid members of staff. Every one of them has made a difference.

Throughout the week, we'll be sharing some of their stories, celebrating achievements and saying thank you to the volunteers who help support thousands of people across Flintshire every year.

Join us in celebrating our incredible volunteers. đź’š

If things are starting to feel difficult financially, you do not have to deal with it alone.

Citizens Advice Flintshire can support you with:
• Benefits advice
• Debt support
• Energy issues
• Budgeting help
• Employment advice
