Not sure if you've noticed, but one thing that becomes very evident when creating these posts is the growing friendships between our residents.
Be it hitting it off with someone straight away and looking out for each other, sitting together or having a cheeky giggle! Or making sure that new residents aren't left out; encouraging them to participate in conversation at the dining table and to attend activities, knowing they'll be welcomed and introduced.

As well as our fabulous activity coordinator, Lisa, planning and carrying out a wide range of in-house fun, she also plans trips out and arranges entertainment to come in!
The last few days have included a sunny trip to Gordale, time outside in the gardens, Magic Mike - one of our favourite singers, and a visit from Alison and her PAT dog Tucker!
Also, last Thursday evening, our kitchen staff created an absolutely delicious 3-course meal for our residents and their families to enjoy!
