At Beehive, we help people living with dementia stay active, connected and continue doing the things they enjoy. A dementia diagnosis doesn’t mean life has to stop.

The Virtual Dementia Tour Bus is coming to Lancing this Friday.

This immersive experience gives you an insight into some of the everyday challenges faced by people living with dementia, helping us all to better understand how dementia can affect the way someone sees, hears and experiences the world around them.

There will also be local organisations on hand throughout the day offering information, advice and support.

⏰ 10am–4pm
📍 Lancing Parish Hall, 96–98 South Street, Lancing

Patricia, our lovely audiologist, will be joining us at the Lancing Hive this September, offering free ear health checks and friendly, independent advice about hearing aids.

📅 Tuesday 1st September | 10am–1pm
📅 Thursday 24th September | 1pm–4pm

A great opportunity to have your ears checked and ask Patricia any questions or concerns you may have about your hearing.

The Bee Active team were pleased to present Daniel from The Castle with a thank you certificate for all his support.

Bee Active team regularly visit The Castle for lunch, but Daniel has also hosted our big social events, giving everyone the chance to get together, enjoy some great food, live music and, most importantly, have a really good time.

We had a fantastic lunch at The Chequers in Steyning last week with our Bee Active group.

A big thank you for making us all feel so welcome and for being so accommodating. Everyone really enjoyed their lunch and it was lovely to get out together.

Our Bee Active minibus gives people the chance to get out and about, enjoy different places locally and, just as importantly, gives carers a few hours to themselves too.

Bee Active have had a fantastic few weeks out and about, enjoying visits to some wonderful local businesses.

Our community-based Bee Active service heads out on the Bee Active minibus for walks, local activities and lunches, helping to reduce social isolation while giving carers a well-deserved break.
