ENID DENTAL UPDATE:
On Monday evening Enid, aged 15, came home after having a major dental.
We knew from a visible exam that one tooth was rotten, but once she was under general anaesthesia and had x-rays taken, the vet discovered resorptive lesions across much of her mouth.
This is a painful condition where, for some reason, the body breaks down the tooth, exposing the sensitive pulp underneath. Sadly, it is common in older cats.πΏ
As a result, Enid had 14 teeth extracted in total!π
She is currently on strong pain relief three-times-a-day and eating a little tuna and a pate-type food. She's such a good girl!π₯°
We would like to thank everyone who has contributed to her Go Fund Me already. The amount raised currently stands at Β£285.π The final bill is expected to be around Β£800, payable on 1st July, so if anyone could help us pay the remaining balance, we would be most grateful.πππ
