We would like to draw your attention to an important issue affecting our community— the presence of Asian Yellow-Legged Hornets in the Shepway area especially Folkestone, Hawkinge, Capel Le-fern, Hythe and Burmarsh.

We are able to hold talks if anybody is interested in learning more and would like to ask if anyone would like to meet up and help with Spring Queening ,catching the emerging queens after there over winter hibernation throughout April – May 2024.
This should reduce the number of Asian Yellow Legged Hornets nests in the area and protect all of the pollinators especially the Honey bee
