Who is coming? Who wants to come but hasn't booked yet? Get your tickets!!!

Get ready for our Discovering Bats Day on Saturday, 31st October 2026, at the Old Baptist Chapel! 🎃

Renowned bat experts David Endacott and Michelle Young are bringing their A-game (and some adorable rescued bats) to debunk all the creepy myths about these winged creatures on Halloween! 🦇

Did you know there are over 1,400 species of bats worldwide, but only three are blood-sucking vampires? Or that ancient Egyptians thought bats could cure baldness, fever, toothache, and poor eyesight? 🤣 And in China, bats are considered symbols of happiness and good luck! Oh, and did you know that bat p**p was once believed to keep demons out of your home? Yeah, we won't be trying that one...

Choose from three event times: 10.30am – 11.30am, 11.45am – 12.45pm, or 2.15pm – 3.15pm.

Tickets: Adults £7.00, Concessions £5.50, Children £3.00.

Call 01684 297174 or book online at the museum website. See you there! 🦇

If you've been to Waitrose to drop in some green tokens and fancy something utterly local, natural and unique .... look not further - BATTY BEESWAX MELTS

(Too cure to melt in our opinion)

See Lou on Mondays at Out from 9.15am –1.15pm, when she has an open door policy, pop in for a browse, a chat or to ask about treatments and workshops. Otherwise make contact for other times Lou isnt with an appointment.

Local Asum Honey – £8 per 1lb jar
Handmade beeswax candles, tealights and wax melts Crystals and tumble stones from £2

No appointment needed on Mondays to pop into the shop!

Not sponsored. Not an add. Shame because I reckon the care team could absolutely smash one of these each.
But aren't they cool?!!

Good evening bat friends! Could you possibly spare a moment to nominate us for entry into the draw? £5000 would make a MASSIVE difference to our Charity and would ensure we are adequately stocked with mealworms and transport to look after our little flying friends 🧡

We could receive a £5,000 donation with your help through the Movement for Good Draw.

If you've signed up to Easyfundraising, nominated us for Movement for Good and wonder how else you can big us up then the Halloween bits are next to the December bits in Evesham Waitrose. And no one counts how many green tokens you pick up 😉

Does the blue and yellow shop of vegan banger rolls have their Halloween Gingerbread in yet? And if yes, is it pumpkin shaped like the last few years or back to proper and bat shaped?
