Did you know that if you have tins of usable leftover paint sitting in your garage or shed, you don’t have to throw them away?

The Community RePaint scheme, which collects good quality leftover paint from participating recycling centres, including Chigwell tip, and redistributes it to local charities, community groups and families who can make good use of it. Residents can also pick up FREE PAINT for their projects or redecorating

It’s a fantastic way to reduce waste, help local organisations and give perfectly usable paint a second life instead of sending it for disposal.

Essex residents can collect paint for free from Canvey Recycling Centre or pass on their leftover paint for reuse.

Today we are visiting our friends in Sawbridgeworth to learn from their experience.

🕑 Drop in anytime between 2pm and 4:15pm (we close at 5pm)

No booking needed for this special session. We'll be operating a numbered queue system, so just come along at a time that suits you and we'll do our best to help.

Our watch and clock repairer isn't available today, however all our other repair services will be available as usual.

🍰 Plus, there'll be plenty of birthday cake!

We're also running our usual tech amnesty. If you have unwanted laptops, tablets, mobile phones or old charging cables, bring them along for recycling. Please note, we're not accepting desktop computers, printers, keyboards or computer mice.
