The Cavolo Nero kale plants have flowered and look lovely in the sunshine. Just before I took this short video there were 3 bees buzzing around the flowers, but they had buzzed off by the time I had got my phone out!
If you want to attract pollinators to your patch leave some of your veg to flower. If we are lucky we will get some seed from these plants, but I won't be able to tell for a few weeks if the plants have been pollinated.

We used to collect empty dental packaging at KEC, but the industry has caught up and 90% of toothpaste tubes can now be recycled. Listen to the Talking Rubbish podcast to find out about this shift. I have just put my first tube in my plastics recycling so I hope Veolia are now taking them.

♻️ One note of caution, the smaller travel size tubes slip through the net at most recycling plants so stick to larger tubes for now.
