Dr Danielle Adewusi is a medical doctor, speaker, women’s health advocate and social entrepreneur dedicated to improving access to women’s health education and support across the UK and Nigeria.

She is the founder of Scrub The Stigma, a women’s health charity leading educational and community initiatives that empower women and girls to better understand, advocate for and prioritise their health. Through its Educate Programme, Danielle has reached hundreds of students in schools across London, Lagos and Edo, delivering women’s health education alongside menstrual hygiene products and essential resources.

Driven by a passion for health equity, Danielle is working to create a future where every woman and girl has access to the education, support and healthcare she deserves.

Dr David Annan is a consultant radiologist sub specialising in Head and Neck Radiology and Muskuloskeletal Intervention. He graduated from Barts and The London Medical School with distinction, is a Member of the Royal College of Physicians and a Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists.

Known for his warm, empathetic approach, Dr Annan is highly regarded by both patients and colleagues for his friendly nature, compassion, and attention to detail he brings to every interaction.

Proudly Ghanaian-British, he values building meaningful connections with people from all walks of life. Outside of medicine, he enjoys keeping fit, being charitable, travelling, theatre and film, and finding time to nurture his creative passions. He’s also not shy on the dance floor!

Friday Pop Quiz time! From 👩🏾‍🏫

Hey, I’m Tito, the creator of Her Sickled Journey, a platform where I share my experiences of living with sickle cell anaemia.

What started as a way to document my journey from a point of frustration has grown into a community focused on education, awareness, and support. Through content, public speaking, and advocacy, I aim to be the person I wish I had growing up with sickle cell by helping others feel seen, supported, and understood while challenging misconceptions about the condition.

My hope is that through sharing my story, I can make the journey a little easier for those coming after me.
