A mix of emotions last night. We invested a new scout and awarded 3 gold awards! But it was also the final night for the 3 scouts with us, they will be flying off to Sweden next week for a jamboree and then start explorers in September. We wish you all the best Gabi, Milan and Emma its been an absolute pleasure to see you progress from shy timid beavers right through to earning the top award.

Beavers and cubs had a joint evening tonight. It was too hot to be inside so we enjoyed the beautiful outdoors with plenty of trees for shade and a gentle breeze Southwood Activity Centre. We are so lucky to have this wonderful space in our district.

Our AGM was this evening. Thanks to Southwood Activity Centre for letting us use their site. It meant the young people could let off steam on the field while the adults done the boring bit! And of course they all came in to find out who won the awards. Congratulations to the winners it was not easy to pick amongst such a great group of young people.

Another awesome weekend away for some of the troop! All planned and organised by the patrol leaders. Very tired scouts have just returned back to tolworth by 3 equally tired leaders! Thanks to Tia our scout leader, Aidan our group lead and Ame from 1st tolworth who gave up their weekend to make this happen.

Massive congratulations to Alex. This was his last week with cubs but he has spent the last few weeks ticking off all the parts of the challenge badges that he had not yet completed. So on his last night as a cub, his cub leader, beaver leader and very proud big sister were all there to see him collect his Chief Scouts silver award badge! Alex is now a scout and straight off on camp with the troop on Friday!

We were delighted some of our young people were able to attend the pentecost service today alongside the mayor to represent our group. We are so lucky to be part of a wonderful parish and had a great day.
