Please join us this week as we pray for South Beach House, a detached house on the Ardrossan seafront commanding spectacular views of the Isle of Arran, caring for 42 older people.
🙏We give thanks for the wonderful staff who have shown their dedication to providing our residents with support and love in Christ’s name
🙏 We humbly ask for strength and resilience to allow us to stand firm during hard times and support those who are struggling in life’s storms.
🙏We give thanks for our beautiful garden where we have grown fruits, vegetables,
flowers and trees, and have enjoyed the sunshine over this past year
🙏We ask for comfort and guidance for our residents and their families throughout their dementia journey, and wisdom and understanding for the staff who provide care on a daily basis

Our Heart for Art team at Broomhill Hyndland Parish Church has been busy creating new paintings, getting to know new friends and spending precious time in the company of others on a similar journey. We are continually amazed at the talent on display from our artists and the love and dedication from our volunteers, without whom these services could not run.

Our Employee Awards give us the chance to recognise our amazing teams who support and walk alongside people every day in so many different settings. Two makes a team! Meet our second CrossReach runner taking on the Scottish Half Marathon this Sunday. Stephen from Queen’s Bay Lodge is ready to take on the challenge.

An avid runner, Stephen is celebrating his first year at CrossReach by raising funds for the residents at Queen’s Bay Lodge. The money raised will help give residents more opportunities for days out and wonderful experiences.

The best of luck to Alan who is taking on the Scottish Half Marathon this weekend to raise funds for the Tom Allan Counselling Service in Glasgow where he works. Alan will be taking on the challenge alongside his wife and son, helping each other across the finish line. Residents at Bellfield Care Home have been soaking up the long, sunny summer days in the garden, planting seeds, nurturing them as they grow, and finally enjoying the fresh vegetables and herbs they helped produce.

But it’s about far more than the harvest. The feel of soil between fingers, the scent of fresh herbs, the changing colours and the taste of something home-grown all create rich sensory moments.
