This session explores inclusive design from strategy through to construction and in use, providing a practical overview of how accessibility and inclusion can be embedded into the design process. It will introduce the core principles of inclusive design and outline best practice approaches, including the application of the Inclusive Design Overlay to the RIBA Plan of Work. Through real examples, the session will demonstrate what is achievable and highlight opportunities to deliver more inclusive outcomes, concluding with an opportunity for questions and discussion.
