Ravens Diamonds Shine at Surrey Sports Park Junior Netball Tournament 🏟️
Ravens Diamonds delivered an outstanding performance at the Surrey Sports Park Junior Netball Tournament today demonstrating excellent teamwork, determination, and sportsmanship throughout the day.
The team got off to a flying start with a convincing 5–0 victory over Ravens Ice before continuing their impressive form with a 9–0 win against Reigate Roses. Confidence continued to grow as the Ravens produced their strongest performance of the tournament, defeating TSJ Lavender 12–0.
In a closely contested match against Dolly Mixtures, the Ravens showed resilience and composure to secure a 4–2 victory. Their toughest challenge came against The Downs, where despite a strong effort, they narrowly lost 3–2 in a highly competitive game.
The final match saw the Ravens face Dolly Mixtures once again, with both teams battling hard to earn a well-deserved 1–1 draw.
Across the tournament, Ravens Diamonds scored an impressive 33 goals while conceding just 6, highlighting the strength of both their attacking play and defensive teamwork. Every player contributed to the team's success, supporting one another on and off the court and representing the club with pride.
A special congratulations goes to Abbie, who was awarded the Coaches' Player Award. This recognition reflects her hard work, commitment, positive attitude, and contribution to the team throughout the tournament.
The day was a fantastic experience for all involved, with the players showcasing their skills, developing their confidence, and enjoying the opportunity to compete against strong opposition. Parents and supporters should be incredibly proud of the team's achievements and the way they represented Ravens Netball Club.
