MBU3A will be holding its AGM during the June monthly meeting ahead of the advertised talk. It will be short and hopefully not too boring. We welcome extra members on the committee. Please give it some thought. There is always plenty that needs doing. Contact the Business Secretary if you are interested.

The speaker for our May monthly meeting will be Trevor Rutter. Trevor will talk to us about "Billy the Kid and other Bad Eggs".
Such unsavoury characters include Billy the Kid, Dick Turpin, Al Capone, Ned Kelly and the Krays. Meetings are held in St Boniface church hall, doors open at 1:30pm for a 2pm start. Prospective new members are welcome to come along for free and find out more about us.

One of the groups you could join is the Digital Photography Group. This group meets monthly on the last Thursday of the month. At our meeting yesterday, Martin gave a practical demo of portrait photography using a single light and a reflector. Harry modelled and Mary wielded the reflector. The u3a motto is "LEARN LAUGH LIVE". We certainly learned a lot yesterday and had fun doing it. Come and join us!!
