🚌 Free Bus Travel for Children This August! ☀️

We thought we'd share this great offer with our Woodingdean Primary families.

Throughout August, children aged 5–15 can travel FREE on eligible Stagecoach bus services in England as part of the Government's Great British Summer Savings campaign.

It's a great opportunity to explore local attractions, visit family and friends, or enjoy a day out for less.

Please check the Stagecoach website for full terms, conditions and participating services before travelling.

💜 Every family is part of the PTFA! 💜

As we look ahead to another exciting school year, we're always looking to welcome more volunteers to our friendly PTFA team.

You don't need to join the committee or commit lots of time to make a difference. Whether you can spare an hour at an event, bake a few cakes, help set up, take photos or simply lend a hand when you can, every bit of support helps us create fantastic experiences for our children.

There really is no pressure and no obligation. By completing our volunteer form, we'll simply know who we can contact if we need a little extra help. If you're not available, that's absolutely fine!

🌟 New Reception families – we'd love to welcome you too! Volunteering is a great way to meet other parents and become part of our wonderful school community.

☀️ Summer Holiday Family Offer ☀️

We thought we'd share this in case it's helpful for our Woodingdean Primary families.

Harvester are currently offering kids' meals for £1 with the purchase of an adult main meal or breakfast throughout the summer holidays.

Please check the Harvester website for full terms and conditions before visiting, as offers may vary by location and are subject to change.

We hope this helps some of our families enjoy a meal out over the summer! 💚

🏁 Who do you think won? 👀😂

Even our teachers couldn't resist joining in on the fun at today's PTFA End of Term Celebration Afternoon! They took on the inflatable assault course in one final race... and we think they enjoyed it just as much as the children! 🤣

A huge thank you to everyone who came along to support today's event. We hope you all had a fantastic afternoon enjoying the inflatables, refreshments, drinks and ice creams while spending time together as part of our wonderful Woodingdean Primary School community.

A special thank you also goes to our incredible volunteers and the school staff who gave up their time to help make today's event possible. Your support means so much to us, and we couldn't do it without you. 💙

Although our PTFA events have now come to an end for this school year, there's still plenty to look forward to over the final few days of term. We hope everyone enjoys the remaining celebrations and makes lots of wonderful memories before the summer holidays begin.

Thank you for supporting the PTFA throughout another fantastic year. We hope you all have a wonderful summer, and we look forward to seeing everyone again in September for another exciting year of fundraising, fun and community events!

This event is our way of saying a huge thank you to every parent, carer, family member and supporter who has supported the PTFA this year.

Whether you've attended an event, bought a raffle ticket, volunteered your time or simply cheered us on, you've helped us raise funds that have made a real difference to the children at Woodingdean Primary School.

💚 Unfortunately, due to a lack of volunteers, we won't be serving hot food, but there will still be plenty of snacks and drinks available.
