What an amazing day! 🎉

A huge thank you to everyone for the support, knowledge, friendship, and love shown today. We had a fantastic visit to Wylands Farm and Fisheries, followed by some great food and drinks in the restaurant, plenty of laughs, and some brilliant conversations. 🐟☕🍔

It was also wonderful to welcome several new faces to the group, and a special welcome to our newest four-legged companions, Zeus the Dalmatian 🐾 and Harley the English Bulldog 🐾! They were stars of the day, and we hope they — along with all our new members — enjoyed the adventure as much as we did.

Days like today remind us just how special our community is. Thank you all for being part of it and helping to create such a friendly, supportive atmosphere. The support, knowledge, kindness, and laughter shared throughout the day made it one to remember.

We're already looking forward to our next adventure together!

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us at Hidden Eden on Monday for our Hidden Eden Wellbeing Garden Project 🌿💚

We had a fantastic session together, cutting back overgrowth, working on creating a buddleia archway for the walkway near our butterfly house, and even attempting to wire in a solar-powered pump to create a self-recycling water feature. Along the way, we fixed a few of those little niggly jobs that had caught our attention and gave the garden a good tidy-up.

Of course, no wellbeing session would be complete without plenty of tea, lovely cakes, and some wonderful wellbeing conversations along the way. ☕🍰

A special welcome and thank you to Maz and Lindy, who came to visit us for the first time. It was lovely to meet you both, and we're delighted to hear that you plan to join us for more sessions in the future.

It's amazing to see how much can be achieved when people come together to care for nature, support one another, and create a welcoming community space.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our Forage for Knowledge Wellbeing Walk last Friday! 🌿🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️
We enjoyed exploring another beautiful part of the Rye Harbour Nature Reserve, taking a gentle walk through the peaceful surroundings before stopping at a lovely little café for some well-earned refreshments. It was wonderful to spend time together, connect with nature, and enjoy such a calm and welcoming environment.
Thank you to everyone who came along and made it such an enjoyable morning. We look forward to seeing you again soon!

🌿💚 THANK YOU TO OUR AMAZING VOLUNTEERS! 💚🌿

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us today at the Hidden Eden Wellbeing Garden session.

We certainly had our work cut out for us! Together, we helped a local resident by tackling the Boston creeper ivy that had spread across the side of their property. The ivy was causing damage to the house and encroaching on the garden, so we carefully removed as much as possible by pulling it from the base and peeling it back like a carpet before cutting it into manageable sections and adding it to our compost.

Alongside this, our wonderful volunteers helped to:
🌱 Water all of the plants and growing areas
🌱 Finish the roof on the shelter
🌱 Tidy and maintain the garden spaces
🌱 Spend time connecting, chatting and supporting one another's wellbeing

It was a lovely, productive session, and it's amazing to see the difference that can be made when people come together as a community.

A special thank you to Sarah for the delicious homemade cakes that kept us all going throughout the day. 🍰❤️

And of course, a big thank you to Pluto the dog, who kept everyone's spirits high with games of chase and plenty of smiles! 🐾🐶

The Hidden Eden Wellbeing Garden continues to grow thanks to the support of our volunteers and community. The work we do also helps us raise much-needed funds for Craig's Cabin, allowing us to continue supporting people across our community.

If you'd like to get involved, come along and see the good work we're doing. Volunteers are always welcome, and every little bit of help makes a difference.

Together, we're creating something special. 💚

🌟 THANK YOU EVERYONE! 🌟

A huge thank you to everyone who came along to the Craig's Cabin Table Sale and helped us raise some much-needed funds. Every item was available for a donation, and thanks to your kindness and generosity, the day was a wonderful success.

It was lovely to see so many familiar and new faces supporting our work, enjoying a chat, finding a bargain, and helping our community project continue to grow.

A very special thank you goes to the wonderful Sarah for all the delicious homemade cakes and goodies, which were a huge hit on the day! 🍰❤️

We are excited to announce that this is just the beginning. Throughout the year we'll be holding more table sales, boot sales, community events, and workshops to help us continue the work we do and bring people together.

Thank you for your support, your donations, and for being part of our journey. We couldn't do it without you.

🌳🐦 Forage for Knowledge Walk Update 🐦🌳

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us today for our Forage for Knowledge walk!

Due to the uncertain weather forecast, we made a last-minute change of plans. Instead of heading to Rye Harbour Nature Reserve, we spun our Bad Weather Wheel and it chose Egerton Park as our destination.

Despite a few light showers, we had a wonderful time exploring together. We spotted beautiful cygnets swimming alongside the swans, watched ducks enjoying the water, fed the pigeons (who became very friendly and even climbed all over some of us!), and enjoyed a magical walk through the tree tunnel. We also discovered the park's famous "dinosaur eggs," which sparked plenty of conversation and imagination along the way.

Thank you to everyone who came along and made the day so enjoyable. We love seeing our community come together to connect with nature, learn something new, and enjoy the outdoors—whatever the weather!
