42nd Brighton Scout Group Saltdean's Scout Group made up of: Beavers age 6 - 8 meet Wed 6 till 7 pm. Cubs age 8 -10.5 meet Mon 7 till 8.30pm. Scouts age 10.5 - 14 meet Tues 7 till 9pm.

A massive thanks to our amazing team of volunteers from our leaders to parents to youth members from our sections. This weekend in total we raised £1108 to give Carrie a send off for her Scout Jamboree in Poland in 2027 as well as funding for our Scout Troops activities in the winter term. Also thanks to all the businesses that donated all the amazing raffle prizes we couldn't have got this far without your generosity. We urge the community to give back by supporting you. If you would like to become a member of the team or wish your young people to get involved please get in touch. Thanks to all the Scouts, parents, of course leaders and everyone else that helped support our Scout Troop today at the Lions gala especially those local businesses that kindly donated the list of raffle prizes. If you need a car wash or a bite to eat we are at the hut at the top of Longridge Avenue tomorrow until around 1pm where we will also draw the results of today's raffle.

It gives me great pleasure to share that the 42nd Brighton (Saltdean) Scouts won the Bakers dozen competition at the weekend and this evening I presented them their shield in front of the Troop. Such an amazing team effort they should be very proud of themselves having competed against other Scout groups across the Brighton and Hove District.
