If you are between 10 and 18 you can join 14,000 other Sea Cadets across the UK and take part in sailing and adventure activities all based on a nautical theme. East Kilbride Sea Cadets turned out to support South Lanarkshire Council Raising the Flag for Armed Forces Day . It was a great morning and chance to meet up with Army and Air cadets, local dignitaries and supporters and play our part in the ceremony in celebration of our Armed Forces Community.

Thank you to all of the cadets who made the effort to be there, including new juniors.

Last Monday we were very fortunate to have a visiting expert join us to deliver a session on interview skills with our senior cadets - thank you Stuart this was very much appreciated.
Our juniors were also very busy with Rev Ross looking at sea cadets Core Values - this weeks topic was Respect - lots to think about!

Volunteering with Sea Cadets is a great way to meet new people, make new friends, learn new skills- all the while helping young people to grow in confidence and get a head start in life!
