Vertigo 360 A Theatre for Youth

Vertigo 360 A Theatre for Youth Vertigo 360 - A Theatre for Youth is a drama club tailored for, and organised by, young people. Fully qualified tutors. Vertigo 360 was established in 2014.

Senior Class: Saturday - 10.30am - 12.30pm (S2 - Age 18)
Junior Class: Saturday - 1pm - 3pm (Age 8 - S1) Vertigo 360- why are we different from other drama groups? We are run for young people, by young people and our ethos is to provide a safe, inclusive space for members to learn and develop skills in acting, performance, movement, devising, script work, stage management, technical theatre and mu

ch more. High quality drama and theatre workshops are delivered by fully qualified drama tutors and whilst there are opportunities for participants to take part in both large, and small-scale, productions with Vertigo Theatre, we are- first and foremost- a youth work based theatre group that delivers drama sessions with the welfare and development of the individual young people at the heart of what we do. We use drama sessions and theatre performance as a tool to develop confidence, teamwork, problem solving, presentation, life and social skills in a way that young people enjoy. Our tutors are disclosed and have a solid understanding of the challenges young people are facing and the group is overseen by a full committee of young people. We aim to make drama sessions accessible to all young people and this is the reason that our costs are so minimal as we believe that access shouldn’t be limited because of a young person’s financial situation. Through our network of tutors and volunteers, we are able to keep the costs of a high-quality drama experience to a minimum. Everyone is welcome at our Vertigo 360, there are no entry requirements and no auditions to join - just come along, have fun and meet new people with no pressure! Please don’t hesitate to get in touch with any questions you may have.
