🌊💙 Join us this Sunday for a West Bay beach clean! 🧤🗑️

Come along, enjoy the lovely autumn weather, and help us keep our beautiful coastline clean.🏖️

Every little bit makes a difference, and it’s a great way to get outdoors, meet others, and give back to our local environment. 🌍💚

🙌 Everyone is welcome - just turn up!
Meet at Crazy Golf by the Boat House Café for a 12pm start.

🧤 All equipment is provided, but feel free to bring your litterpicker if you have one!
Dress appropriately for the weather.
👨‍👩‍👧 Children must be accompanied by an adult.

👉 Meet Hans Unkles, a fisherman based in Argyll who developed Scotland’s first electric fishing boat. Han’s will be hosting this special screening of his documentary It’ll Never Work with the Trust and Cowal Community Energy.

Did you know there are over 200 venues across Dunoon and Cowal? That's a lot of venues! 🗺️📍

Would you like to help people discover more of Dunoon?
✨We’re looking for a Venue Information Volunteer to join the team behind What’s on Dunoon. ✨

The aim is simple: to make it easier for local people and visitors to find out about the events, groups, clubs and community venues happening across our area.

As a volunteer, you’ll help us gather and share information about community venues, while building connections with the people who make things happen in our community.💡

You don’t need to be a digital expert or have previous experience. Training and support will be provided, and we’re looking for people who are curious, willing to learn and interested in their local community. ❤️

Last week we co-hosted a workshop with CHArts Argyll and Isles and the The POP Shop for local heritage practitioners on Dunoon Pier - a very fitting setting. There was a great turn out and lots of ideas about how heritage could be activated to support the regeneration of the town and the area into the future.
