๐โโ๏ธ๐ Community Sports Hubs โ Powered by Volunteers, Driven by Community! ๐๏ธโโ๏ธโฝ
Volunteers are the heartbeat of our Community Sports clubs and organisations, helping to run clubs, support events, and create welcoming spaces where everyone can get active and feel connected.
๐ In 2023, formal volunteering in Scotland hit its lowest recorded level, with just 18% of adults getting involved.
๐ But thereโs good news! In 2024, 25% of adults volunteered โ thatโs 331,000 more people stepping up to make a difference. ๐
This rise in participation, highlighted in the latest research from Volunteer Scotland, shows the power of community and the growing recognition of how rewarding volunteering can be.
