Tonight 13 men came to AMC Dumfries. Each one with a dark storm over there heads. Great work by everyone who attended last night that put a little sunshine and hope into each other 👌👌👌👌

Every person who walks through the door takes a step towards something better. AMC isn’t just about helping yourself, it’s about helping others who are suffering too.

Together we listen, support, share and grow. Thank you to everyone who came along and made the night what it was.

🏆 On Thursday night, millions of people watched ANDYSMANCLUB receive a Pride of Britain Award on ITV. What an incredible moment for everyone involved in this amazing organisation! 💚

This award is a tribute to every volunteer who gives up their Monday evenings to open our doors, listen without judgement and provide a safe space where men can talk openly about whatever they’re going through.

But while Thursday night was about celebrating how far we’ve come, today is about reaching the next man who needs us. 💚

After losing 23-year-old Andrew Roberts to su***de in 2016, his mother Elaine and brother-in-law Luke set out to ensure no other family suffered the same heartbreak.

They launched Andy's Man Club—a free, judgment-free space for men to gather for "a brew and a chat." What started in a single room in Halifax with nine men has grown into over 360 peer-support groups across the UK, reaching thousands of men every week and saving countless lives.

Watch Elaine and Luke receive their Special Recognition award at the Pride of Britain Awards on Thursday 22 October at 8pm on ITV.

You might have noticed our volunteers often wear two wristbands.

One to wear and one to pass on.

As an awareness first charity, getting our name out there and making sure more people know about ANDYSMANCLUB is what we’re all about.

And sometimes, something as simple as handing someone a wristband can start a conversation that makes all the difference.

This World Mental Health Day, we want you to get involved.

We’re giving TWO free wristbands, to anyone who wants to help spread the word. One for you, and one to give to a mate, family member or someone you meet along the way.

Whether it starts a conversation, introduces someone to ANDYSMANCLUB or simply helps spread the word, every wristband has a part to play.
