🌟 What an AMAZING night at T:BUC last night! 🌟
We were delighted to welcome Deputy First Minister Emma Little-Pengelly to The Base for a very special evening!
After enjoying Subway for dinner and a few games, we got the chance to ask our guest speaker some questions! 🎤
From discovering she's a McDonald's fan 🍔, would love the ability to talk to animals 🐾, which Derry girl she sees herself as and would rather be chased by 100 tiny ducks than one giant chicken 🐥😂, there were plenty of laughs!
But beyond the fun, we heard her truly inspiring journey to becoming Deputy First Minister of Northern Ireland. A story of overcoming barriers, defying the odds, working hard and pursuing your dreams, alongside her passion for Northern Ireland.
As someone who played a key role in establishing the T:BUC funding that makes programmes like ours possible, it was particularly special to hear her heart for community relations and the young people of Dromore. ❤️
A huge thank you to Emma for taking the time to visit, answer our questions and encourage our young people.
A memorable night at The Base that we won't forget anytime soon! 🙌✨
