Although the Staff at our squadron beat us to making a post celebrating the fantastic work of all the volunteers that support the cadets and the squadron in honour of Volunteers Week, we (the cadets of 354), decided to also use this week as an opportunity to thank all the staff and civilian committee members that keep this organisation going.

We've made this video as a surprise to the volunteers at our squadron, as a small demonstration of our huge appreciation for them. From turning up to parade evenings with smiles on their faces, to the relentless work they do behind the scenes, we are aware and so grateful of how hard they are willingly work for us. We know that cadets as we know it would not exist if it wasn't for their dedication. You are huge inspirations to all of us. Thank you! - From the cadets of 354

This week is Volunteers Week and we want to say a massive thank you to all our volunteers that support the cadets and the squadron, whether that is as adult staff or our civilian committee. Without our volunteers we would not be able to give our cadets the unforgettable experiences that they have with us. Without them, we wouldn’t be able to do what we do! So THANK YOU to all of you.

The RAF Air Cadets relies on over 10,000 volunteers to support our cadets, help the squadrons around the UK and to allow us to offer a wide-range of activities and opportunities. There are lots of ways you can join us and make a difference. So if you are interested in joining our squadron, please visit 354dover.com
