On Tuesday evening we had our ‘handover’ evening, marking the end of the Rotary year. Outgoing President Victoria Warren handed over to Clive Harland as Devizes Rotary President for 2026/7. Clive is no stranger to the role having held it twice before so the club is in good hands!

President Victoria Warren and President Elect Clive Harland were delighted to attend the Devizes RBL awards night at the Wyvern Club.

Clare Pappiatt the RBL fundraiser for the south west and Sheena Cranston caseworker at the RBL joined the evening. Clare presented a very special 50 year award to Lt/Col Mather (CVO OBE) whilst Sheena explaned how the RBL spends the donation which are so kindly given by many of you to our veterans and service community. Town Mayor Vanessa Tanner presented awards to fundraisers and supporters from around the area.

Thank you to all the RBL for their tireless efforts to support our community and the incredible fundraising they do each year.

It was our absolute pleasure to be able to send the children from the CNRB at Wansdyke School (‘Rainbow Class’) to Longleat on Wednesday as part of the Rotary Fundays (formerly Kids Out)

The children and staff had a wonderful day.

We were delighted to welcome Town Mayor, Cllr Vanessa Tanner, to our speaker evening today. She spoke about the Devizes Big Banner project, and how her idea has come to fruition. It was great to hear about the project and all the organisations involved. We’re proud to be one of the 171 panels!
