Kennet Muddy Boots enjoyed a change of scene yesterday, heading indoors on the first drizzly day in a long time!

The group visited Pewsey Heritage Centre to explore the People of Pewsey Exhibition, on until the end of October, and browse the local artefacts that always spark plenty of memories and conversations.

Of course, no Kennet Muddy Boots trip would be complete without a cuppa and cake! And this week, a big happy birthday to member Neil 🥳

Muddy Boots North were back out enjoying the fresh air at beautiful Lacock Abbey and Gardens.

The group explored the orchard, historic rose garden and William Henry Fox Talbot’s Botanic Garden before stopping for a well-earned slice of cake and a cuppa at the Stable Tea Rooms.

An extra highlight was volunteer Sharon’s 10-month-old Labrador puppy, who joined the group for the walk and happily soaked up all the attention! 🐾💚

Conversations, connections and inspiring ideas at the West Wiltshire Business Expo.

Rachel and Andy from our Community Fundraising Team spent a valuable day at The Civic Trowbridge today, meeting forward-thinking Wiltshire businesses, entrepreneurs, investors and innovators who are working to shape the economic future of our county.

As a local charity, we’re deep rooted in the communities we serve, and the expo was a great opportunity to share more about what we do, meet some wonderful local organisations and explore opportunities to work together with purpose.

Our Old Silk Works club had two very special visitors on Tuesday, and they certainly made an impression!

Basil and Barbara joined their lovely human, Amanda, who usually works at our Salisbury day club, for a visit to our Warminster club. Needless to say, they were a big hit.

It was also lovely to have Amanda at the club, although Basil and Barbara may have stolen the spotlight this time! 😂🐾

The more we understand about dementia, the more we can help create truly dementia-friendly communities.

It was great to see this in action at our recent Understanding Dementia & How You Can Help session at Warminster Library. Thanks to everyone who joined us to learn more, share experiences and explore how we can all make a difference.

Kennet Walking Boots headed to Bowood House and Gardens for the beautiful Arboretum Trail, taking in some seriously impressive trees along the way.

From magnificent redwoods and stunning red maples to a tulip tree and a giant sequoia, there was so much to spot 💚
