Fankerton Hut and ideal meeting place for larger groups. Available to hire for under 11's children's parties, family functions, classes and meetings etc. Inside the large hall there is a small raised stage, a functional kitchen with all modern conveniences, ladies and gents toilets, baby changing facilitates and disabled access to the hall with an individual disabled toilet. The hall is heated an

I want to thank Yvonne for coming to Sip and Smiles in Fankerton Hut yesterday, Sunday the 2nd August, to give us a Chair Yoga class....
We were so engrossed that sadly no pictures were taken of the class to show you.
We did have a Soaps quiz to finish off the afternoon which had everyone concentrating.
It was such a busy afternoon that Sharon's birthday cake was forgotten about until the very end after everyone had left. Hope you have a lovely birthday on Monday anyway Sharon.

Another Happy afternoon at Sip and Smiles in Fankerton Hut.
Please remember all welcome and hope to see you all Sunday the 2nd August 2-4pm for a chat, cuppa and some activities.
The strawberry tarts made by Mary went down a treat this month as did her scones. Thank you so much Mary.
The Wimbledon quiz made everyone's brain work.
The lucky 13 game showed the competitiveness of everyone which was real fun.
These are pictures of the prize winners for the games played by all not just the kids.

This Sunday 5th July, Sip and Smiles is back at 2-4pm in Fankerton Hut.
Wimbledon is on so we will be having some tennis type fun.
This free event is open to everyone. Come along, have some cakes, biscuits a cuppa and a chat.
Any donation is welcome but not necessary.

A big thank you to Jock the Box for entertaining us at Sip and Smiles today, Sunday 7th June. It was a great afternoon.
CVS came today to present Emma and Shona with volunteer certificates for all their hard work in collecting litter in this area. Unfortunately the third member of team team,Yvonne, is on holiday so didnt get presented with her certificate today.
The committee also received volunteer certificates for helping run Sip and Smiles, Alan , Andy, Mary, Sheena and Margarete.
Alan had a big birthday yesterday so was presented with a birthday cake, courtesy of Mary.
Also,with Alan, Russell and Jim having birthdays this week, they were all serenaded
with the Happy Birthday Song.
Next Sip and Smiles will be Sunday the 5th July 2-4pm.
