Fankerton Hut and ideal meeting place for larger groups. Available to hire for under 11's children's parties, family functions, classes and meetings etc. Inside the large hall there is a small raised stage, a functional kitchen with all modern conveniences, ladies and gents toilets, baby changing facilitates and disabled access to the hall with an individual disabled toilet. The hall is heated an

d well lit and there is ample off road parking available. Unfortunately we are not able to accept bookings for teenage, 18th and 21st parties. Opening times are by arrangement. Please contact 01324 823290 or email [email protected] to discuss.

A big thank you to Jock the Box for entertaining us at Sip and Smiles today, Sunday 7th June. It was a great afternoon.
CVS came today to present Emma and Shona with volunteer certificates for all their hard work in collecting litter in this area. Unfortunately the third member of team team,Yvonne, is on holiday so didnt get presented with her certificate today.
The committee also received volunteer certificates for helping run Sip and Smiles, Alan , Andy, Mary, Sheena and Margarete.
Alan had a big birthday yesterday so was presented with a birthday cake, courtesy of Mary.
Also,with Alan, Russell and Jim having birthdays this week, they were all serenaded
with the Happy Birthday Song.
Next Sip and Smiles will be Sunday the 5th July 2-4pm.

Another fun afternoon in Fankerton Hut.
Everyone enjoyed the Prize Bingo, Putting and Axe throwing. Gladly no injuries sustained during the Axe Throwing (only lots of laughter).
Lots of Tea, Coffee and cakes consumed.
Hope to see you all on the 7th June for more fun and laughter.

Another happy day at Sip and Smiles for our Easter Fun Day.
We decorated Boiled eggs, then rolled them, coloured Easter bonnets, had an egg and spoon race, a raffle then an Easter Quiz. A really busy and fun packed afternoon in Fankerton Hut.
Thank you all for coming and those who helped with the running of the day.
