☀️ A Well-Deserved Break ☀️

The Strand Centre and Café will be closed from Tuesday to Saturday this week while our Centre Manager, Paul, and some of our wonderful volunteers take a well-earned break with their families.

We are incredibly grateful for the dedication, care and countless hours that our volunteers give throughout the year.

Please note:

📌 The Antiques Fair will still take place on Saturday as planned.
☕ The café will not be open on Saturday.
🪑 Our Chair Cleaning Project sessions will still go ahead on Tuesday and Wednesday from 10.00am–2.00pm. Volunteers are very welcome to come along and help, but please note that the café will not be open.
🎭 If you would like to book tickets for our Murder Mystery event, please leave us a message. Paul will respond to enquiries when he returns.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support. We hope our volunteers enjoy a well-deserved rest, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back next week.

🎶 What a wonderful Devon Evening at the Strand Centre! 🎶

Thank you to everyone who joined us for an evening of music, food, fun and community spirit as we celebrated Devon.

The night included a quiz, raffle, buffet supper and, of course, a traditional Devon cream tea dessert! 🍓

A special thank you to Maddy and the Chaps, whose wonderful mix of drums, mandolin, guitars and harmonies soon had people singing along and taking to the dance floor.

Thank you to everyone who helped organise, support and attend the 🎶 Devon Day at The Strand Centre 🎶 event.

We're nearly there, but we need a few more helping hands to finish cleaning the chairs at the Strand Centre!

If you can spare an hour or two, we'd love your help keeping our community space fresh, clean and welcoming for everyone who uses it.
