Teignmouth Beach Surf Life Saving Club With over 200 members of all abilities aged 7 upwards, TBSLSC is one of South Devon's most active and successful life saving clubs.

Teignmouth Beach Surf Life Saving Club is a voluntary life saving organisation and fully affiliated member of Surf Life Saving Great Britain (SLSGB). The Club's mission is to educate all ages in beach safety and life saving first aid for a safer and fitter community. The Club aims to make Teignmouth beach safer through First Aid and water safety training. Members can train to become qualified beac

h lifeguards and take part in Surf Life Saving Sport competitions. Throughout the summer season the club provides a voluntary service to the public and assists the professional lifeguards.

⚠️ Important Update – Boxing Day Walk in the Sea ⚠️

We’re really sorry to share that, due to unfavourable weather conditions and strong easterly winds still forecast, we have made the difficult decision to cancel this year’s Teignmouth RNLI Boxing Day Walk in the Sea . The safety of everyone involved is always our top priority.

We know many people will be disappointed, and we truly appreciate the enthusiasm, and support shown for this event.

Eventbrite will automatically issue refunds to those who purchased tickets. If you would prefer to donate your entry fee to support RNLI lifesavers, you can do so via our JustGiving page (link in comments below).

📍Volunteers will be out on Boxing Day morning to let people know the event has been cancelled. We know many of you come along to make a festive donation, and our team will be there to collect donations. Thank you in advance for your generosity and continued support.

🛍️ Our RNLI Gift Shop will still be open, with 2026 diaries and calendars still available.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support of Teignmouth RNLI. Our volunteer crews remain on call 24/7, whatever the weather.

ALL NIPPER & YOUTH TRAINING CANCELLED TODAY.

Hi all, we have now made the decision to cancel the whole day. With another band of lightning due in at 11am we cannot risk going ahead.
